Great food, fresh food. They have a variety of drinks like soda, tea, boba, a few Japanese beers, & saki. They lady is very nice and she recommended customer favorites on our first visit there.

Came here with my family because I was craving teriyaki. The lady who took our order was super friendly. I wasn't sure about the food at first, but once we had our plates in front of us it looked great. I ordered the BBQ pork and beef combo plate. The beef was a bit on the dry side for my taste but let's be honest the BBQ Pork was the star here. I honestly just needed more pork and rice on my plate. The salad was also nice too I liked that the dressing had a more subtle flavor than other restaurants. My daughter had the fried chicken teriyaki which she really liked. It was more of a Japanese style karrage than panko breaded chicken. Both are yummy but I appreciate the crunchiness that karrage style chicken has. My husband was super happy with his dish the pork and tempura. 10/10 coming again to try their Yakisoba.

Solid, home cooked Japanese food for Fresno. I like the variations of soy soy,e, shrimp tempura. Casual atmosphere. Portions could be bigger.

I found Ginza while out on business in the Central Valley looking for some deals on Upside. This place intrigued me as I was going to be in the area Friday and I needed meatless or fish items. This place can be a little tricky to find if it's your first time going here, but it's easy on and off. This store reminds me of places like Hibachi Express that are more quick-serve than full restaurant. That said, the atmosphere is nice for for a hole in the wall restaurant. The food was good, though it could use a few tweaks to make it awesome. I had the "scampi" shrimp with tempura shrimp and veggies plate and a bowl of miso soup. The soup came out piping hot a d freshly made and for the most part tastes as miso soup should. Service for the main plate had prompt, but also as if made to order. The plates come with a scoop of steamed rice and a small side salad. The rice was just right and fresh, the salad was nothing home to write about. It was good, bit didn't stick out. The tempura batter was light and crispy, but the sauce served with the tempura didn't add much for me. This might be a case where a different dip/sauce would come in handy. The other small critique is that I'd like to see at least two pieces of tempura shrimp for that particular plate. Felt like it was mostly tempura vegetables to me. The real highlight was the scampi-styled shrimp. The sauce they used was very flavorful (you can also request to adjust the spice level, too). The shrimp was cooked very well and the main dilemma was that I wanted more of it. Most folks will like spend at least $15 for a meal (entrée and drink); the cheapest dish is around $12-$13. If you want sides or eating with family, definitely expect about $15/adult. While a fast-service restaurant, I had a good experience with the service. The front of the house was attentive with my order and also took care of the soda refills. They were also very personable as well and an overall experience. If you're looking for a relatively fast-service Japanese restaurant in Fresno, Ginza is a good choice. I believe they just need a couple tweaks and they would be a great place to go.

I’ve been here too often not to review. There is nowhere in Fresno where you can have a more warm environment than here. Absolutely love this place, the environment, and especially the food. An absolute gem. And consistent on all fronts. Amazing.

Amazing food, heartfelt service, and a local gem worth every visit! Ginza Gourmet Teriyaki House serves some of the best teriyaki we've ever had. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and everything tastes fresh and made with care. The staff is incredibly friendly—you’re treated like family from the moment you walk in. That said, for a $75 dine-in meal, being served on Styrofoam and paper plates with plastic utensils was underwhelming. The tables are a bit old and sticky, and the atmosphere doesn’t reflect how good the food is. It feels more like a takeout spot, which clashes with the pricing. Still, the food and service make it hard to stay away. We love this place and truly hope it thrives. With a few upgrades to the dining experience, it could easily become a standout restaurant in the area. Highly recommended for the flavor and the people behind it!
